Promises 'Destiny' Teases at E3 2015. It's been almost a year
since Destiny
launched across numerous platforms on September 9th, 2014. The game was the
subject of an immense amount of pre-release hype, with fans of Bungie clamoring
to see the studio's first non- Halo game in over a decade. That popularity has
yet to waver, as Destiny is more popular than ever, recently surpassing a
milestone of 20 million players.Bungie has been able to keep players interested
in Destiny in a couple of ways. For one, they are constantly updating the game,
making changes to it based on fan feedback and addressing technical issues. The
second way is through the release of expansion packs, the first being The Dark
Below and the second being the recently released House of Wolves.
With the
release of House of Wolves, the Buy Fut Coins season pass promises for Destiny have now been
fulfilled. However, Bungie is in it for the long haul, and they expect Destiny
to have a much longer lifespan than most games, which rarely receive any DLC or
expansions after the season pass contents have all been released. In fact,
leaked materials suggest that Destiny has at least three more expansions in the
